Hawaii is a very popular vacation destination so it should come as no surprise that it is also a very popular honeymoon spot. The main reason for its popularity is the great beaches and the excellent weather. It also doesn’t hurt that it is very easy to get to Hawaii. This makes it a simple matter to plan your honeymoon.
It should probably come as no surprise that Hawaii is a popular honeymoon spot; it is after all a very popular tourist spot. Most people who go to Hawaii go to lay around on the beaches and enjoy the good weather. There are however lots of other things that you can do in Hawaii. One of the real attractions for a couple on a honeymoon is the opportunity that exists for romance. A big part of the reason for this is the spectacular scenery that exists on the islands.
While most people think of the beaches first when they hear the word Hawaii there is a lot more to the state. The islands are the results of volcanic activity and as a result are quite mountainous. This has created some really great scenery. The water falls for example are some of the most spectacular that you will see anywhere. If you are going to make the trip to Hawaii it is definitely a good idea to get away from the beaten track and see some of the other sites on the islands. You will enjoy your trip a lot more than if you just spend the whole time on the beaches.
If you do want to spend your entire honeymoon on the beach than Hawaii is a great place to do it, the beaches are spectacular. The beaches that are near the tourist resorts are of course very crowded but if you get away from those areas you can find beaches where there are virtually no people. There are several dozen islands that make up Hawaii, if you get away from the bigger ones there will likely be few other tourists around. In addition to the beaches Hawaii is great for people who are into water sports.
Hawaii of course is a very well developed tourist destination, which can be both good and bad. On the plus side it makes it very easy to plan your trip. There are lots of flights to the islands and plenty of places to stay. On the downside you will probably end up spending your honeymoon surrounded by other tourists. If you are looking to spend time alone together there are ways to do it in Hawaii but it will probably require that you go to the islands that are less popular with tourists. If you do go to one of these islands you will find that there is not the same infrastructure for tourists.
